Executive Vice-chairperson Kim Kwan-yong gave the first question and Secretary General Seok Dong-hyeon gave the last question, respectively, and encouraged the final contestants.

 The final round included the screening of videos of regional contest scenes and cheering, quiz contests, quiz for the last contestant, participants’ talent show, and the awards ceremony. The finals were broadcast live on YouTube, and viewers cheered for the participating students online.

For the finals, Korean War veteran Son Hee-won, chairman of the Korean War Veterans Association, and the Rev. Chosan, who contributed behind the scenes to the repatriation of the Pukkwan Victory Monument, gave questions via video, providing participants with a meaningful opportunity to think about national history

Ko Min-seo from Ohyun High School in Jeju won the finals. Ko was the last contestant to take on the golden bell, but unfortunately, Ko failed to answer the question No. 44 and dropped out of the challenge for the golden ball, for which the contestants should give correct answers to all the 45 questions.

The finals that marked the grand finale of the 2023 Youth Unification Golden Bell turned out to be a festive event filled with the passion of domestic and overseas youth and their families, friends, and teachers who supported and encouraged the participating students.
